Roissy Val D'Oise is an immersive Second Life roleplay community inspired by the themes and atmosphere of the classic French novel Story of O. Set within an elegant French estate, the sim provides a rich environment where residents can explore character development, etiquette, service, power exchange dynamics, and collaborative storytelling through roleplay.

Do you allow female Dominants?
Not at this time. Roissy Val D'Oise is currently a female submission-focused community, and Dominant roles are reserved for men.
Do you allow male submissives?
No. All submissives within the community are female.
Is everyone voice verified?
No. Members who have completed voice verification will have it indicated on their profile or will be part of the Voice Verified group.
No. Beginners are welcome. We do encourage learning, asking questions, and taking time to understand the community before engaging in roleplay.
Do I need prior BDSM or D/s experience to join?
Is this a 24/7 lifestyle community?
No. Participation is roleplay-based and entirely voluntary. Members are expected to maintain a healthy separation between roleplay and real life.
Is consent required?
Absolutely. Consent is the foundation of every interaction within Roissy Val D'Oise. Members are expected to communicate boundaries clearly and respect the limits of others.
Are there classes or training available?
Yes. The sim offers educational opportunities designed to help members understand etiquette, protocols, and the expectations of the Roissy environment.
How do I apply to become a Dominant or submissive?
You can apply in one of two ways:

Complete the application form on the Roissy Val D'Oise website at the bottom of the appropriate Dominant or Submissive page, or pick up an application notecard at the Roissy Val D'Oise landing point in-world and return it by placing it in the mailbox as instructed on the notecard.
